We invite you to make a difference at the Daystar Center. The Center is designed to
make a difference by making connections – between generations, between people
and ideas, between groups and institutions, between needs and resources.
We are located at 1550 South State in the South Loop of Chicago and our motto
is “Together Bringing Light.” Along with other nonprofits in the building, we want
to be multi-institutional, multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary.
We operate with one principle: through collaboration and cooperation, everyone
benefits and the world is enriched.
We invite you to put your oar in the Daystar Center water. Take a class, teach a
class, attend a concert, give a concert, cross a bridge, build a bridge. Come alongside
us as we work together to become an educational and cultural hub for the South
Loop and beyond.

Mission
Daystar Center provides professional development opportunities, offers educational and community programming, and facilitates collaboration among nonprofits at 1550 South State, in Chicago, and beyond. As a sister organization of the Daystar School, the Center supports the Daystar vision for community enrichment and faith-based cultural engagement.
